Project Management

When you choose DCMO Commercial Floors for your commercial flooring or window treatment project, you get a dedicated Project Team that manages every detail from start to finish. Each project manager participates in the Certified Installation Manager program through the Flooring Contractors Association, ensuring the expertise needed to handle complex jobs with confidence. You will always have a central point of contact who keeps you informed and makes sure your project stays on time and on budget. In addition, all our project managers are OSHA 10 certified, reflecting our commitment to the highest standards of safety and service.

Specification & Selection/Design

A flooring or window treatment project is about more than just styles and colors. It is about choosing products that perform well and stand the test of time. We evaluate not only the upfront costs but also the long-term value, ensuring the right product is used in the right space. Our team works closely with end users and designers to select materials that are attractive, durable, and functional. As a nationwide dealer with strong manufacturer relationships, we use our buying power to secure top quality products at the best prices and pass the savings on to you.

Estimating

With over 40 years of experience, we provide fast, detailed, and transparent estimates you can trust. Our team considers design, installation goals, budget, and timing to create solutions tailored to your project. Using advanced software and careful measurements, we deliver precise estimates that help you make informed decisions while offering alternatives to fit your budget. From start to finish, we keep you updated so you know what needs to be done, why it matters, and what it will cost.

Moisture Testing & Remediation

Moisture is one of the biggest threats to a successful flooring installation. Too much moisture can cause adhesives to fail, promote mold, or leave floors warped and uneven. It can also void product warranties. That is why we test every slab for moisture content and vapor emissions before installation. If we find a problem, we walk you through the options and resolve it so your floors stay strong, durable, and beautiful for years to come.

Substrate Preparation

A floor is only as good as the surface on which it is installed. Properly preparing the substrate, or the underlying layer that your flooring is installed upon, is a crucial part of proper flooring installation.

In addition to our technicians thoroughly conducting a pre-job inspection for a variety of substrate conditions, such as floor flatness, we ensure the substrate meets the flooring manufacturers’ standards. We carefully note the type of flooring to be installed, where it is to be installed, and what sorts of stresses it will be subjected to throughout its service life.

Installation

Whether your project is large or small, your complete satisfaction is our goal. We’re happy to work alongside other contractors to ensure your place of business faces minimal disruption while adhering to deadlines and schedules. This helps ensure your business can go on conducting business with little to no upheaval in your plans.

Site Management

Scheduling and planning manpower, complete communication with the general contractor, overall supervision and safety, and documentation are all included in their list of responsibilities. Our customers work with only one spokesperson instead of complex sources of information or multiple crews.

Our site managers take responsibility for the work as it takes place on site. They serve as the single point of contact for multiple DCMO crews and foreman and have on-site decision-making authority.

Occupied Spaces

Our Lift Installation process for flooring installations helps eliminate the need to move bulky, heavy, furniture by lifting it slightly in place and allowing for the flooring to be installed. This allows for substantial savings as it eliminates the need to dismantle, set back up, or move furniture.

We work closely with you in the phasing and define scheduling expectations to ensure the least amount of disruption to your work space. We work from start to finish to coordinate all aspects of your project.
